Robert Bartleh Cummings aka. Rob Zombie was born on January 12 of 1965. He is an American musician, film director, screenwriter and film producer. As a solo artist, he has released five studio albums, three compilation albums, two remix albums, two live albums, a video album, and 15 singles. He rose to prominence as a founding member of the band White Zombie which formed in the mid-1980s and rose to fame in the early 1990s. In 2003 he started directing films, and has directed a total of six them, plenty of which he also wrote or co-wrote.

Zombie has directed most of White Zombie’s video clips as well as his own. His lyrics and performances are noted for their horror and sci-fi themes. He has sold over 15 million albums worldwide. His band’s current line-up: Rob Zombie (vocals), John 5 (guitars), Piggy D. (bass), Ginger Fish (drums).

White Zombie’s final line-up consisted of Rob Zombie, Sean Yseult, Jay Yuenger and John Tempesta. They released 4 albums: Soul-Crusher (1987), Make Them Die Slowly (1989), La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume One (1992), Astro Creep: 2000 (1995).
