The First Niagara tailgate zone, parking lot and surrounding area was overflowing with rockers both young and old for the triple mega lineup of Tesla, REO Speedwagon and Def Leppard.

“Rock of Ages” was played by Def Leppard late in the set as an encore, but it was truly happening throughout the evening last Friday just south of Pittsburgh. Midway through their performance Joe Elliot took time out to acknowledge that one of the things he loves most about touring now is that he is introducing rock music to a new generation of fans. There are three generations of rock fans singing along with every word of their hits and it’s proof of the longevity of “this kind of music” as Elliot referred to it. If you’re a Def Leppard fan you know exactly what kind of music that is!
